Receptions, meals and wedding festivities will take place on the second story of Gar Woods. The second story is where all private events and wedding receptions take place at. The second story is divided into two huge rooms that are partially divided by glass walls. For bigger receptions guest will be seated in both rooms and the center area will be used as your dance floor. Small receptions will be able to host all your guest in larger room and your dancing will take place in the smaller upstairs room. There are many ways to design and setup your reception area in this massive space. One side of the whole second story of Gar Woods is floor to ceiling glass windows so that you’re able to enjoy the lake views of Tahoe during your meal, events and wedding party. There is also a small outside deck that runs the length of the second story so guest are able to enjoy the lake views and get some fresh air during cocktail hour and your reception party. This reception area is one of the few events venues in Tahoe that is located on the waters edge and has these breath taking views of the lake.
