The Pavilion at Haggin Oaks is located on a beautiful golf course complex in Sacramento California. This golf course has had rich golf history since it open up back 1932. The gorgeous fairways are lined with large century old oak trees that and other massive trees that give this venue it’s unique charter and name. This one of the reason why this golf course is such a popular wedding venue in the Sacramento area.
I always say that it’s a huge plus if you’re able to get ready on site at your wedding location and Haggin Oaks is one of those venues that offers this. They have a bridal suite for the ladies to get ready in and man cave for the gentleman to also get ready in. It reliefs so much stress on your big day to be able to get ready and then walk out for a first look or go straight to your ceremony once your ready. If for some reason you do not want to get ready here you have plenty of hotel options since downtown Sacramento is just a short drive away.
The ceremony locations are located next the 17th and 18th fairways. Couples have two areas to pick from on where they would like to host their ceremony. The first one is right next to the reception area and is called the Gazebo. In front of the charming white gazebo is where your nuptials will take place at. Next to the gazebo is a massive oak tree that also adds charter to the ceremony setting of this site along with the surrounding fairway. The second site that ceremonies are hosted at is the 17th fairway. At this location your ceremony will be held out on the grassy 17th fairway just in front of a big sycamore tree. This spot is a wide open space, which gives you lots of room to have lots of guest attend your special day. The wondering thing about both of these ceremony sites is that they are super close to the pavilion reception site, which is great for not having your guest walk to far to the rest of your wedding day festivities.
During cocktail hour you’ll be most likely be having your formal family, bridal party and couples portraits taken. This is where the surrounding golf course and oak tree forest make Haggin Oaks shine. This venue has a good amount of stunning options for these types of photos to take place at. While most of family and bridal party photos will take place at the ceremony site your couples portraits can be taken around the near by fairways and forested area. The one nice thing about this venue is that amount of shade that is close by for portraits, which helps on those hot summer days. When you’re finished with your photos you’ll finally be able to join all your guest at the reception site.
The reception site is the massive beautiful white tent that is know as the Pavilion. Inside this giant reception tent is where all your reception events take place at. These events include cocktail hour, dinner service, speeches and dancing. One of the big factors of why couples choose to host their special day here is the amount of people that can fit in this tent, which is up to 400 guest. Lots of local venues only have capacity limits up to 150 or 200, but not at Haggin Oaks. You will definitely have a night to remember under this elegant white tent.
If you’re looking to get married outdoors or host your wedding at a golf course then you should definitely contact the ladies at Haggin Oaks to set up a site visit to see this wonderful venue with your own eyes. There’s a reason why so many couples pick this site to host their wedding day at.
